Details

This beauty has been nominated in the category of: The Most Wearable Turtleneck.

Shape-wise, it sports a proper ribbed turtleneck collar and a slightly relaxed body shape,  long sleeves with ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hemline. Knit in a fine 15-gauge stitch, it stands on its own, or can be "tucked in" without too much fuss.

it's going to work with you, on those days when you're not in the mood to show off too much - other than your fabulous sense of style, finely-tuned seasonal/situational awareness, & a dash of irony.

Like its sister piece (The Harvest Laine) it's perfect for layering under a blazer or cardigan (& yes we have one that coordinates!)  but it can really stand all on its own. Just think of it as your *special fall* turtleneck, and carry on.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE.
In honor of “pumpkin-spice-latte” season, we added an understated pumpkin motif to the bodice.  It's there, if you catch it from the right angle, the light catching the texture difference from the slub-knit detail of the pumpkin.

The *most* grown up “graphic” top we could dream up, tone-on-tone, and IOHO, the perfect way to say: Heck-yeah, I am INTO this Fall Season, but without being too loud or obvious about it. [read more]

Offered ONLY in Terra Cotta - a gorgeous orange-adjacent rust shade.

🎃Care & Production Note:
NOTE: This Merino Wool is DRY CLEAN ONLY. Refresh with a light steaming or low iron.

The Four Seasons | Harvest Mini-Capsule Collection is being pre-knit in a quantity that matches our production partner’s inventory of these 2 “deadstock” yarn colors.  And since pumpkin season is already here, we wanted to shorten your delivery wait time… so we went ahead and pre-ordered the knitting of all of the offered pieces in this collection.   We hope you understand the rationale from diverging from our normal “knit to order” policy, for this specialty capsule collection!

Our Inventory is limited, so if you see something you like - snap it up!

Styling & Pairing Note

The Harvest Helene is The Harvest Laine’s “big sister” - she is clearly in the same family, just a bit more serious, providing a bit of extra coverage for your arms & neck.

Still, like the Laine,  the Helene is also going to be that piece you’ll want to wear extensively through the Fall, right up to midnight on Thanksgiving night (after which it is officially no longer “pumpkin” season).  But we see it playing quite nicely with all of your closet.

Adds a bit of seasonal whimsy to your work wardrobe.  Yes, paired with your more tailored suits or separates, it can ABSOLUTELY go to that upcoming board meeting or off-site conference without batting an eye.

But also: did you see the coordinating pieces from the Harvest Collection?

Pair with our matching 8gg Harvest Amelia cardigan for a proper twinset, or with our 15gg Harvest Boot Skirt for a head-to-toe “dress” look.

Whether paired with a matching piece or two, or with a pair of jeans or nice wool trousers from your own closet, or that rescued vintage plaid skirt (lucky you!!) you are polished yet not under-embellished for that Halloween get together with the girls, trick or treating with the kids, or just any average work day between now and Thanksgiving.
