Each Agnes Piersanti garment is knit in Brooklyn NYC (USA) to-order, for you.
Its not made ahead of time & stored, it's literally knit FOR YOU, when you order it.
Yes, that means that it will be a *tad* slower in arriving, but also, it also did not need to cross an ocean to sit in a warehouse for months, waiting for you to discover it. Bonus: there is less waste involved, and a lower carbon footprint, not only from the knitting process that our production partner deploys … but also just due to the fact that we aren’t pre-making a pallet full of sweaters one (1) ocean + one (1) continent away, in the hopes of selling them to you. (you over estimate and then you have too much left over…. underestimate and clients become peeved when you run-out in their size).
This way is cleaner, you wish your sweater into existence, when you are ready for it.
Slow fashion sounds good – but here is where the rubber meets the road, it WILL actually take a little extra time between when you hit “BUY” and when it shows up on your front stoop. But we believe, as we were taught, that good things are worth waiting for. It's in our DNA, and there shall be no apologies forthcoming. Just trust the process - grab a good book - and savor the wait, it will be worth it, promise.

Our turn-around time from order to finished garment ready for shipping is ~2 weeks (PLUS shipping time). Once you place your order, our production partner knits the garment FOR YOU exclusively. Then your piece is first delivered to us, for a final “spot-check” to make sure it's absolutely perfect, and then your garment is lovingly wrapped and prepared for shipping from our workshop in Central NJ.
We ask for your patience, and in exchange, we will always cover the cost of standard shipping on every order, for delivery addresses within the U.S.

We are happy to accommodate returns, for exchange or store credit, with a $20 restocking fee. Just email us for a return label.
- Unless specifically noted; some garments are hand-finished or embellished in small batches ahead of time, and are held in our in-studio inventory until they find a new home. We will clearly note this, if its applicable, otherwise the standard process is “knit-to-order” at our production partner’s studio in Brooklyn, NYC.
