Ok lets get right into brass tacks, shall we?
This one is special.  (s-p-e-c-i-a-l)

We have built this skirt from the ground up (well, mid-calf-up, to be more specific). Knit from the same 100% Italian Merino Wool and offered in the same specialty dead-stock colorways as the Harvest companion tops (The Laine & The Helene), it's a knock-out of a fall sweater-skirt.

Boot Length, because heck yes - it's Fall, after all.
(And we’ve waited long enough to pull out our boots!)
An easy A-line shaping, because Fall is also pie season, and we must be *a little* practical.

Comfortable, via its wide, slightly relaxed elasticized waistband. (Go ahead and indulge in that 2nd piece of pie, or one more Reese's peanut butter cup), this skirt’s your ride-or-die back to the buffet table).  And not to overlook its more subtle detailing, a jaunty string bow at the waist & roll-edge hemline tells the world that it's not taking itself too seriously.

But here’s the bit of not-great news:
We could only make a handful of them - as they required a healthy allowance of our limited quantity yarn PLUS our dressmaker’s time and effort to construct that signature waistband for us, and after all: Fall is SHORT, so we needed to get these to you pronto.

So don’t sleep on your shopping cart - grab one now.
May feel impulsive, but trust us, you’ll be relieved to have made one yours.

🎃Care & Production Note:
NOTE: This Merino Wool is DRY CLEAN ONLY. Refresh with a light steaming or low iron.

The Four Seasons | Harvest Mini-Capsule Collection is being pre-knit in a quantity that matches our production partner’s inventory of these 2 “deadstock” yarn colors.  And since pumpkin season is already here, we wanted to shorten your delivery wait time… so we went ahead and pre-ordered the knitting of all of the offered pieces in this collection.  We hope you understand the rationale from diverging from our normal “knit to order” policy, for this specialty capsule collection!

Our Inventory is limited, so if you see something you like - snap it up!

Styling & Pairing Note

When we think of Autumn, and Harvest-time in particular, some of us tilt toward boot-skirts as our “go to” look.  From there, isn’t what we REALLY want a sweater-version of said “boot skirt”?
(why yes, yes we do)

We are fairly confident that you’re going to love this skirt from the moment you see it. The fit is EXACTLY what “Pie&Candy” season calls for: A forgiving fit.

Slightly A-lined, in your true size, it's going to “skim” over your curves without snagging or hugging any one of them too tightly.

So styling this skirt? Easy-peasy.

With a simple tee & denim jacket (yes, similar to our cashmere Cedar Skirt)
With a nice silky blouse, cami or tank (weather permitting) and paired with a 3rd piece - it's your go to seasonal sweater-skirt.

And OF COURSE with one of the coordinating Harvest Laine or Helene, it reads like a seasonally-inspired knit dress.

But also: with our coordinating Harvest Amelia Cardigan, it reads like a sweater-suit. We’re getting slightly dizzy at the prospects, they are all SO GOOD.

Here’s all we’ll say then we’ll land this airplane: If you are a *pumpkin spice latte” gal, who finds herself scheming over your Halloween decor in July - The Harvest Skirt may be for you.

And again: very few of them exist on the physical plane, only 15, so run-don’t-walk if you want to avoid it haunting your dreams forever. (Boo!)  Better to find The Harvest Skirt is safely tucked away in your sweater drawer.

Then: no hauntings, just options.
